1970 -1989 Mr. IOAN CRISTIAN SILVIU – dipl.eng ,graduate of Polytechnics Institute TRAIAN VUIA – Timisoara , Electrotechnic High School – Electromechanical specialty – worked as production responsible , project manager in some of the most important enterprises in Romania as Electrobanat and Intreprinderea de masini de Ridicat Timisoara , Electrouzinproiect and I.P.C.M Bucharest , realizing a lot of major projects in automatics for industrial purpose .
His professional skills and reliability, a native talent for leadership recommend as a successful manager and made him decide, immediately after the 1989 opening to start his own business.
1991-1994 ALROTEC PRODIMPEX SRL – a private owned company was created. Main activity: import and distribution of electronics (audio/video/TV) from company Grundig Germany, import, distribution and installation of protective films for windows (solar control and safety protection films BRUXSAFOL ). These products are delivered and installed all over Romania , improving the insulating and mechanical resistance quality of traditional glazing systems ( windows, glass-facades ) and positioning Alrotec as a leader in professional film installation , quality and market oriented.
1994 Start of production: insulating double pane units. The strategy is very well defined from the very beginning and followed with tenacity even throughout the difficulties of “transition” in Romanian economy. The new factory is growing step by step, adding new and new machinery increasing capacity and range of products.
1996 SPECTRUM INDUSTRIES SRL is created; it becomes the main pillar of insulating glass production.
Rapid growth of production and sales leads to a boom in equipment and production space related investments. A state of the art factory is opened in Romania.
1997 – Acquisition of the first automatic assembling line for insulating double pane glass from Peter Lisec Austria, and complementary machinery from Reinhardt Technique, Rjukan, Bottero.
1998 – Start of investments in the newly built insulating glass facility – 20,000 sm ground with production areas, warehouses, transport infrastructure etc.
1999 – Acquisition of a new full-automatic cutting line Peter Lisec for jumbo sized glass and other machinery for glass processing as fusing oven ,drilling and edging, sand blasting etc.
2000 – First stage of building the production – plant I = production + office building.
2002 – Second stage of building – plant II + acquisition of a new assembling line for insulating glass units ( produced by PETER LISEC GmbH , a ful automatic high capacity assembling line including sealing robot for polyurethane and gas copy press ) . From the same supplier ( PETER LISEC SOFTWARE ) – acquisition of a new software for production planning and management.
2003 – Acquisition of the first tempering oven from TAMGLASS .The production of safety glass has begun.
2004 – Third stage of building – plant III + acquisition of specific machinery for glass finishing: screen printing machine; laminating oven, bending oven, heat soak test oven.
2010 – Scholz autoclave
2016 – Lamination with Sentry Glass foil. Opening Flat security line for oversized glass up to 10 m wide up to 2.53
2017 – Bending and securing line for oversized glass up to L 2500 mm and H 5500 mm
